Yates Leads Franklin County Bandits Past Williston Wolfpack

Yates struck out 10 batters as the pitcher led Franklin County Bandits past Williston Wolfpack 13-1 on Saturday. Yates gave up five hits and one run over five innings while walking one.

Franklin County Bandits scored seven runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Yates singled, scoring one run, Olsson drew a walk, scoring one run, Newton hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, Markham singled, scoring one run, Clark drew a walk, scoring one run, and Markham scored after tagging up.

Williston Wolfpack were the first to get on the board in the first when Rosica doubled, scoring one run.

Franklin County Bandits jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Clark hit a solo home run to left field, Newton singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
