Franklin County Bandits Defeat Vermont Black Sox

Franklin County Bandits defeated Vermont Black Sox 9-6 on Sunday at 1000 Dorset St, South Burlington, VT 05403.

Vermont Black Sox got on the board in the top of the first inning after Picard singled down the left field line, and Dennis hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Franklin County Bandits captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the first when Yates singled, scoring one run, and Olsson homered to center field, scoring three runs.

Eaton doubled to center field, which helped Vermont Black Sox tie the game at four in the top of the third.

A double by Hogan gave Vermont Black Sox the lead, 5-4, in the top of the fourth.

Franklin County Bandits flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Clark that drove in two.
