Elderton Drives 5 Runners Home In Champlain Mariners Victory Over Vermont Black Sox
Elderton drove in five runs on two hits to lead Champlain Mariners past Vermont Black Sox 11-0 on Tuesday. Elderton doubled in the sixth scoring two, singled in the first scoring one, hit a sacrifice fly in the second scoring one, and hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth scoring one.
Champlain Mariners got on the board in the top of the first inning after Elderton singled to right field, Poland grounded out, and Mikell grounded out, each scoring one run.
