Champlain Mariners Unable To Overcome Browns River Diamondbacks's Late-Game Surge

Browns River Diamondbacks snatched the lead late in their 4-3 victory over Champlain Mariners on Thursday. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored one run.

Champlain Mariners were the first to get on the board in the first when Elderton doubled, scoring two runs.

A single by Willoughby extended the Champlain Mariners lead to 3-0 in the top of the third inning.

Browns River Diamondbacks jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after Hauser homered to center field, Parker singled to center field, Steinman tripled down the right field line, and Champlain Mariners committed an error, each scoring one run.
