Champlain Mariners at Williston Wolfpack

Bushey drove in five runs on two hits to lead Champlain Mariners past Williston Wolfpack 19-0 on Sunday at 369 C V U Rd, Hinesburg, VT 05461. Bushey doubled in the third scoring two, walked in the second scoring one, and singled in the fourth scoring one.

Champlain Mariners scored 10 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Chagnon singled, scoring one run, Goodrich grounded out, scoring one run, Fragola singled, scoring two runs, Bushey drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Mazza-Bergeron singled, scoring one run, and Mikell singled, scoring three runs.

A double by Bushey, a single by Broullette, and a single by Poland helped Champlain Mariners extend their early lead in the third.

Callahan earned the win for Champlain Mariners. The starter gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking none. Russell took the loss for Williston Wolfpack. The starting pitcher went three innings, allowing 16 runs (15 earned) on 12 hits, striking out one and walking eight.

Champlain Mariners tallied 14 hits in the game. Mazza-Bergeron led Champlain Mariners with three hits in four at bats. Mikell, Fragola, and Poland each collected multiple hits for Champlain Mariners.
