Burlington Brewers Victorious Over Vermont Black Sox

Burlington Brewers bested Vermont Black Sox 10-7 on Sunday at 45 Locust St, Burlington, VT 05401.

Burlington Brewers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Tembreull doubled down the right field line, and Wenner lined out, each scoring one run.

Vermont Black Sox captured the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the first when Dennis doubled, scoring two runs, and Luter III singled, scoring one run.

Burlington Brewers flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Sprague that drove in two.

Burlington Brewers added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Ripley walked, and Sprague grounded out, each scoring one run.
