Perry's Strong Eye Leads Franklin County Bandits Past Williston Wolfpack

Perry showed a strong eye at the plate on Tuesday, as Perry walked three times while leading Franklin County Bandits to a 10-2 victory over Williston Wolfpack.

Franklin County Bandits got on the board in the top of the first inning after Olsson doubled down the left field line, and Newton singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Franklin County Bandits added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Clark hit a sacrifice fly, and Perry walked, each scoring one run.

Franklin County Bandits scored five runs on four hits in the top of the seventh inning. Muzzy induced Newton to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Perry singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and Daniels singled, scoring one run.

Newton stepped on the hill first for Franklin County Bandits. The righty gave up seven hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking none. Russell started on the mound for Williston Wolfpack. The hurler surrendered six hits and four runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking five.

Franklin County Bandits amassed 13 hits in the game. Dattilio and Daniels each collected three hits for Franklin County Bandits. Newton and Perry were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Franklin County Bandits. Olsson collected two hits for Franklin County Bandits in five at bats.
