Champlain Mariners Claim Victory Over Franklin County Bandits

Champlain Mariners were triumphant over Franklin County Bandits 4-1 on Saturday at 1000 Dorset St.

Champlain Mariners opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth thanks to two singles. Champlain Mariners first got on the board when Tanguay singled, scoring one run.

Bushey earned the win for Champlain Mariners. The pitcher allowed five hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking none. Hummer took the loss for Franklin County Bandits. The starting pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out four and walking six. Quinn appeared in relief for Champlain Mariners.

Tanguay, Bushey, and Safer each collected one hit for Champlain Mariners. Tanguay, Bushey, and Mazza-Bergeron each drove in one run for Champlain Mariners.
