Browns River Diamondbacks at Champlain Mariners

Champlain Mariners scored six runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Browns River Diamondbacks 11-0 on Wednesday. Chagnon drew a walk, scoring one run, Mazza-Bergeron grounded out, scoring two runs, Mikell doubled, scoring one run, Goodrich hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Bushey singled, scoring one run.

Champlain Mariners extended their early lead with four runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Chagnon, Callahan, and Goodrich.

Goodrich earned the win for Champlain Mariners. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Leblanc took the loss for Browns River Diamondbacks. The hurler went one inning, giving up six runs (three earned) on two hits, striking out none and walking four.
