The Green Mountain Baseball League is a locally run, Vermont wooden bat baseball league for players 18 and over. The 2011 season featured ten teams: South Burlington Expos (2011 league champs), Burlington Brewers, Green Mountain Militia, Middlebury Red Sox, Connecticut River Ironmen, Barre Braves, Washington County Nationals, Franklin County A's, Vergennes and South Burlington BlackSox.
The Green Mountain League provides a great opportunity for adults 18 and over to continue playing ball after high school and college. The league is home to a variety of playing abilities, from previous high school players to past and current college players, and ex-professional players. Our league is focused on sportsmanship, respect and dedication to the game of baseball.
